Our Catholic Life
Catholic Life and Mission
The Catholic life and mission of our school are at the centre of all our efforts. Guided by the teachings of Jesus Christ and inspired by our mission statement, “As we walk together with Jesus, we love, live and learn”, we aim to create a community where everyone feels valued, respected, and loved.
Our mission is expressed each day through our words, actions, and attitudes. Gospel values shape our curriculum, our relationships, and the care we show for one another.
In every aspect of school life, we seek to grow in faith and unity, recognising and celebrating the presence of Christ among us. Together, we nurture faith, inspire hope, and share God’s love in our world.
Raising Funds for Colchester Food Bank
Alongside the generous food donations received for our Harvest Festival, each year group created a class-themed scarecrow to line our entrance pathway. Parents and children showed their support by donating to the bucket belonging to their favourite scarecrow - thank you to everyone who took part!
Mrs Jones and our Year 6 pupils later delivered all the donated items to Colchester Foodbank, where they were gratefully received and will be used to support families in crisis this winter.
The Rosary Trust Joint Schools Concert
Every year the schools in our trust get together to put on a Christmas concert including all of our school choirs.
It is held at St Benedict's Catholic College in Colchester and is always a joyful community event, raising much needed funds for the Brentwood Catholic Children's Society.
